Ingredients

  • 400g black beans
  • 400g red kidney beans
  • Small batch of fresh coriander
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds (+3 tbsp water)
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 4-5 tbsp bread crumbs
  • 1 tap dry oregano
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Place the bell pepper, onion, garlic, carrot and coriander in a food processor until the mixture is smooth
  2. Transfer vegetable mixture in a bowl. Place rinsed and drained beans in a food processor and process until finely minced. Add the bean mixture to the bowl with the vegetables. Add the flax seed water, oregano, cinnamon, salt and pepper and stir well. Stir in bread crumbs and form mixture into patties
  3. Bake them at 180°C, for about 20-30 minutes.
